Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes for modern software systems — fully remote.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Test Automation Engineer with a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and CI/CD pipelines.
You should be passionate about ensuring software reliability, scalability, and performance in fast-paced development environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks across various layers of the application (API, UI, integration).
Collaborating with developers and product teams to define test strategies and integrate them into the software development lifecycle.
Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution and reporting.
Identifying, tracking, and resolving bugs throughout the development process.
Ensuring high code quality and coverage through effective use of unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Supporting manual testing efforts when necessary and mentoring junior QA team members.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
Knowledge of containerized environments and Kubernetes-based testing strategies.
Exposure to security testing or DevSecOps practices.
ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
